A list of common winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It is obvious that the payout schedule can change from game to game, so that skillful enthusiasts are agile enough to choose the most profitable game each instance.
After the initial round has played out, the player can either choose to continue on in an attempt to maximize their earnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any credits that they may have won. Additionally, a few styles of the game allow the gambler an opportunity to double their profits, in which situation another round is played. There are also variations among individual games, with some decks of cards including wild cards and other differing elements to enhance playability.
