Video Poker is a beloved game that is able to be bet on in casinos all over the globe, or in your house on your PC, through a net connection. The game rules are absolutely simple and consist of the player trying to get the greatest combination of cards as you can in order to acquire cash. In this respect it is much the same as a regular game of poker, minus the interaction with competing players. After the gambler has decided on which cards she wishes to retain, the player will then press ‘deal’, at which point any new cards are needed they will be handed out. The game is now finished, with the Electronic Poker machine analyzing the cards to see if it matches any of the winning hands printed on the pay out schedule.
Normally, the lowest succeeding hand on a Video Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money growing for each and every better hand. A common list of winning hands begins with jacks or better, moving on to 2 pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It should be known that the payout schedule can vary from game to game, so that discerning players are agile enough to select the most profitable machine each time.
As soon as the first round has played out, the player can either choose to remain on and try to to maximize their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any cash that has been won. Additionally, several styles of the game allow the bettor an opportunity to increase their wins, in which situation another game is played. There are also differences between individual machines, with some decks of cards having wild cards and other varying characteristics to increase playability.
